Versatile Everyday Hot Sauce

The Sauce That Does It All

NOT JUST A HOT SAUCE. A VERSATILE EVERYTHING SAUCE.

Most sauces do one thing. Olde Town Sauce Co. does everything. The Lovin' Good Sauce is built on a base of cayenne pepper mash, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire, giving it a depth of flavor that works across every meal of the day. Toss it on wings. Stir it into shrimp and grits. Drop it into a Bloody Mary. Use it to finish scrambled eggs or slather it on a hamburger fresh off the grill. It is the kind of sauce that earns a permanent spot on the kitchen counter, not just the back of the fridge.
Our Story

FROM WOODWORKING TO WING SAUCE: THE ACCIDENTAL RECIPE

Before Olde Town Sauce Co., Luke built custom furniture. Precision, craft, and getting the details right were already part of how he worked. When a neighbor's recipe swap led to a series of substitutions, including swapping Tabasco for cayenne and reworking the Italian seasonings, the result was a sauce unlike anything on the market. The family launched officially in March 2024, and the same care that went into Luke's woodworking now goes into every batch. The recipe has not changed. The commitment to quality has only grown.

What Makes Us Different

HANDCRAFTED CONDIMENTS MADE THE RIGHT WAY

Olde Town Sauce Co. was never built to be the hottest sauce on the planet. It was built to be the most useful one in your kitchen. Every decision, from the ingredient list to the manufacturing process, reflects a commitment to flavor, transparency, and quality that mass-market brands simply cannot match.

FLAVOR-FORWARD RECIPE

The Lovin' Good Sauce leads with the rich, layered taste of cayenne pepper mash, balsamic vinegar, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire. Heat follows on the back end, not the front.

Clean Label Ingredients

No added preservatives. No stabilizers. The sauce separates naturally in the bottle, and that is a feature, not a flaw. It is a sign that what is inside is real food made from real ingredients.

Common Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OLDE TOWN SAUCE CO.

  • Why does my Olde Town Sauce separate in the bottle?

The separation is completely normal and is actually a good sign. Olde Town Sauce Co. products contain no added preservatives or stabilizers, which means the ingredients settle naturally over time, just like any other real food product. A quick shake before pouring is all it takes to bring everything back together. If a sauce never separates, it likely contains stabilizers or additives that keep it artificially uniform. The separation is a signal that what is in the bottle is exactly what the label says.
  • Is the Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce meant to be a challenge sauce?

No. The Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce was specifically designed to highlight the flavor of the Reaper pepper rather than focus purely on heat. The goal was never to create something prohibitively hot. It is made for people who want to experience what the Reaper actually tastes like, not just how much it burns. That said, it is still a high-heat sauce, so those sensitive to spice should start with a small amount.
  • Where can I buy Olde Town Sauce Co. products in Georgia?

Olde Town Sauce Co. is currently carried at Wilkes of Ball Ground, JC's Family Market, and The Corner Butcher Shop, all located in the Cherokee County, GA area. These retail partners carry the sauce year-round, including during the off-season when farmers markets are not running. • What does the Lovin' Good Sauce taste like?

The Lovin' Good Sauce is built on a base of cayenne pepper mash, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. The result is a layered, savory flavor profile with a mild-to-medium heat level that builds on the back end rather than hitting immediately. The balsamic and red wine vinegar bring brightness and a slight tang, while the soy and Worcestershire add a savory, umami depth. It works across a wide range of foods rather than competing with whatever it is on.
  • What foods pair well with the Lovin' Good Sauce?

The sauce was built to be versatile, and it shows in how many different applications it works in. Chicken wings are the top use case and the one that earned the brand its award at the Atlanta Hot Sauce Fest. Beyond wings, customers use it on hamburgers, French fries, grilled steaks, and pulled pork. It also works well in Bloody Marys, scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, shrimp and grits, Brunswick stew, and drizzled over a smoked block of cream cheese.
  • What is included in the Gift Bundle and how much does it cost?

The Gift Bundle includes one 16 oz bottle of the original Lovin' Good Sauce and one 5 oz bottle of the Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce. It is available online for $20 and is a practical way to get a complete introduction to the Olde Town Sauce Co. product lineup in a single purchase. It also works well as a gift for anyone who enjoys cooking or experimenting with new flavors.
  • Are gallon sizes of Olde Town Sauce Co. products still available?

No. Gallon sizes have been officially discontinued and are no longer part of the active product catalog. The current lineup consists of the 5 oz original Lovin' Good Sauce, the 16 oz original Lovin' Good Sauce, the 5 oz Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce, and the Gift Bundle. All active products are available through the online store and at select Georgia retail locations.
  • How did Olde Town Sauce Co. get started?

Olde Town Sauce Co. was founded by Luke and Ashley in Cherokee County, Georgia. The recipe originated during a neighbor's recipe swap when Luke made a series of substitutions, including using cayenne pepper instead of Tabasco and adjusting the Italian seasonings, producing a flavor profile unlike anything they had tasted before. After about two and a half years of development and two seasons selling out at local farmers markets, the brand launched officially in March 2024. The company later partnered with a professional after a year and a half of searching for one that could reproduce the recipe without adding preservatives or stabilizers.
